Kevin C. Goff has an extensive (and mostly unseen) archive of rock and roll artists, which he shot in southern California in the late ’60s and early ’70s. He is perhaps best known for his image of Jimi Hendrix shot during Newport Pop Festival at Devonshire Downs in June of 1969. The photograph was turned into a poster in the early ’70s and quickly became a classic.
